But that’s exactly what happened when the Heat guard completed a four-day executive course in sports and entertainment management at Harvard University on Saturday.

Wade, who has been working as an analyst for ABC during the NBA Finals, missed Games 4 and 5 to complete the course. He will be back on the air for Tuesday’s Game 6 at Quicken Loans Arena, according to the Sun Sentinel . 

Wade obviously does not get an official Ivy League degree for his efforts, but he does get a certificate and some experience from a top-flight university.
