Now they’re trying to throw the full one-two punch with one being the release of the newest Battlefield installment…

On Friday, the headmaster of the European division of EA, Jens Uwe, spoke to MCV and said the following:

All of us who’ve played both the first Bad Company and the Modern Warfare titles know the games are very different in style and gunplay but we also recently found out that DICE is making some changes including making enemies much easier to kill to fall in line with the more run-and-gun style of Modern Warfare.

I prefer the PC version of Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142 more than I do the Bad Company games and I don’t think the latest one stands a chance against Infinity Ward’s recent record-breaking numbers but I’m still very excited to play it.

That being said, part two of the assault against Modern Warfare 2 is of course with the reinvention of Medal of Honor which takes that series into modern combat as well. I hold high hopes for that but it’s been a few years since the last release in the series so it’ll be an uphill battle to compete.
