The fifth entry in the supremely creepy horror franchise Fatal Frame, Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water tasks players with surviving on a ghost infested island relying upon nothing but a camera. This camera, called the “Camera Obscura,” is a mystical camera that causes ghosts caught in its pictures to dissipate. Thus, players must snap pictures of these hostile natives to survive. It’s a unique mechanic that leads to many pulse-pounding encounters, forcing players to hastily line up pictures and snap away, lest a ghost shreds your character to pieces....
While the footage confirmed the return of many core elements featured in the previous game including wall running and fast paced, hyper-kinetic gameplay, one of the biggest additions to Titanfall 2 is the grappling hook. The hook appears to be a game changer, letting players use it to launch themselves by launching it at a Titan, traverse the landscape by scaling large buildings or using it to grab an enemy out of the air and sling shot into them for a kill....
Hosted by Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez, Jacki Jing, and Greg Miller, E3 2021 will kick off on June 12 with a pre-show at 10am PT. Ubisoft will then have the first full press conference with its Ubisoft Forward event, starting at 12pm PT. E3 2021 viewers can also look forward to a presentation from Gearbox Entertainment, the developer of the Borderlands games, though a specific time has not been determined just yet....

College football features several large conferences that operate as separate entities, with member schools playing a specific schedule with three non-conference games worked in. Some conferences are full of powerhouses, and others are comprised of relatively small schools that don’t produce as much hype, but every different conference provides the potential for unique experiences in a video game adaptation. A new playoff system for real college football is also rolling out in 2024, giving the EA Sports College Football game a chance to hit the ground running with this new format....
EA Sports has hundreds of employees working towards creating the FIFA franchise, though most would expect them all to be working on the same title. An undetermined amount of those employees are already working on making FIFA 16 stand out from the crowd, and with more than a year before most gamers will be thinking about the game, it’s good to see EA Sports is doing everything they can to put themselves in a good position for their tight release schedule....

According to a recent report from PCGamesN, Tymon Smektała, lead designer on Dying Light 2, has said that upcoming DLC will take players into new environments, which have their own “traversal challenges.” They also said that the team is interested in surprising people, and creating “emotional anticipation.” Not much is known about what the new content will consist of, but Smektała’s words seem to suggest that fans should be excited about what’s coming up, and to perhaps “expect the unexpected”....
