Let’s get down to brass tacks: Awesomenauts is a self-styled “Multiplayer Online Battle Arena” game from developer Ronimo Games, set to be released later this year through both Xbox Live Arcade and PSN. Ronimo was behind the small but well-received Swords & Soldiers, a side-scrolling RTS originally released through WiiWare. In Awesomenauts, teams of players choose a number of unique interstellar mercenaries and face off in a side-scrolling, cell-shaded battle royale....

At this year’s E3 we got a chance to witness a live demo of two levels from Prey 2 — one set towards the very beginning of the game and one set after your character, Killian Samuels, is a fully equipped bounty hunter. In Hitman Absolution, Agent 47 is betrayed by confidants, resulting in a citywide manhunt of the assassin. The game was built from the ground up with IO Interactive’s new proprietary engine, Glacier 2, and the pre-alpha build was shown on the PlayStation 3 during the demonstration. IO Interactive’s goal is to preserve the series traditional game elements, such as freedom of choice and use of disguises, while adding more modern game mechanics....

Ghostwire Tokyo is an action adventure game, which many of us noted to be quite a departure from the survival horror genre Mikami generally likes to toy around with it. Even though Ghostwire Tokyo is an action-adventure title, the cinematic trailer of the same looks spooky and mysterious enough for one to ponder before booting up the game with lights off....

E3 or Electronic Entertainment Expo is an annual video game event, garnering immense support and coverage from across the world. Ever since its initiation in 1995, E3 has become the most anticipated expo of the year. Millions of fans are waiting in anticipation of new game announcements, riveting trailers and updates, as well as hands-on experiences of upcoming titles. The update for the original game comes just a month after Techland released the sequel Dying Light 2. It should be noted that this patch is not an actual upgrade to an Xbox Series X/S game but is going to make the game look better on the Xbox One as well as the newer consoles. The patch is one that was announced a while ago and has seen a bit of a staggered release....

Game Rant recently spoke with Techland’s lead designer on Dying Light 2, Tymon Smektala, about what’s next for the game. An example of a Dying Light 2 stealth mission debuted during its July 1 showcase. The “Monsters Gameplay Trailer” released by Techland during the event features protagonist Aiden Caldwell sneaking around a hospital to avoid rousing the suspicions of sleeping and distracted zombies. While the stealth appears to be tense and set in a well-designed environment, the end of the clip is a reminder that Dying Light isn’t a series known for slow, tense gameplay....
