Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will feel and play exactly like the original Halo title. The game feels this way because the fine folks at 343 Industries have built the remake with the exact same code that Bungie used in Halo: Combat Evolved. The newly remade title will feature some significantly amped up graphics, as one would expect an HD remake to include, but 343 Industries went all out and included an option that blew my mind during our behind closed-doors sneak peak of Anniversary....

One of the new features in Mario Kart is that you not only get to select your vehicle type, but wheel type as well. Larger, monster-truck style tires will certainly help you plow through the offroad, but you’ll face limited turning agility as consequence. On the flip side of that, equipping small tires will help you with urban road driving, but you’ll be massively slowed if you fall off the road....

New to E3 this year is the PC Gaming Show, which focused heavily on upcoming PC games and mods, and provides PC gamers with the same exciting reveals that Sony and Microsoft brought console gamers. During the event, Antimatter Games and Tripwire Interactive announced Rising Storm 2, the much-requested sequel to the historical shooter, Rising Storm. With a debut gameplay trailer that blew everybody away, fans were incredibly excited for the game to be released in 2014. However, the developers at Ubisoft Massive, Ubisoft Reflections, and Red Storm Entertainment delayed the game to 2015, explaining that they didn’t want to “compromise” on quality. But this year, Ubisoft announced that they would be bringing another developer on board (Ubisoft Annecy) and that the game had been delayed to Q1 2016, putting its release some time between January 1 and March 31....

Some fans felt concerned that it might mean that The Legend of Zelda would be getting pushed back until the Nintendo NX console was ready. However, Shigeru Miyamoto has now clarified matters in a brief statement to IGN. The Game Critics Awards nominees are in for E3 2015, with Star Wars Battlefront leading the pack with five nominations, including Best of Show. The list of winners will be revealed on Tuesday, July 7th. Star Wars Battlefront wasn’t the only one to garner a ton of attention from the Game Critics Association, either. This latest batch of in-game Crysis 3 screenshots feature beautiful foliage mixed within the harrowing city of New York. The city has been covered in a nanodome, allowing tropical plants to flourish in an otherwise urban environment. Protagonist Prophet and his trusty bow - the focal point of the marketing so far - also appear throughout. Players will remember Prophet from his appearances in past Crysis games, though this time he’s the star of the show, having come to New York on a revenge mission....
