Still, despite the fact that everybody expected news about inFamous 2 at E3, Sony and Sucker Punch Productions surprised many by unveiling a meaty debut trailer that provides viewers with a substantial look into Cole MacGrath’s advanced super powers, his new colossal adversary, and a re-imagined setting inspired by New Orleans. How can a developer bring an event to life and allow the players to feel like they are in control when the actual wrestlers themselves are not necessarily in control of the outcome of the match during actual WWE wresting events? More importantly, how can they make the experience feel authentic for fans and be fun enough for both wrestling fans and gamers alike?...

Although many intriguing games from this year’s E3 made it onto the GSA’s nominations list, most of them lost out to Titanfall in the end. Some of the more notable games the GSA “snubbed” included Destiny and Battlefield 4. It’s also important to mention that not all of the games on display at E3 made it onto the nominees list. Games like The Division and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - two of the more impressive demos from the show floor - were not eligible for awards consideration because they were not playable....

This leaked information is thanks to a security flaw on the Bandai Namco website that apparently led to some fans uncovering a ton of E3 news a few days early. The most exciting piece of intel for most people is like that Martin’s From Software game is a PC, PS4, Xbox One title called Elden Ring. Considering the recent success and craze surrounding Sekiro (which may have contained an Elden Ring hint), this title is likely going to get a lot of buzz once we see a bit more about it....

EA CEO, Andrew Wilson recently stated in an earnings call with shareholders that the Skate sequel (unofficially referred to as Skate 4 by fans) will be launching soon, but did not provide a specific date or time frame for the title. This took many fans by surprise considering that EA has shown no formal gameplay of the title as yet. Wilson also noted that the new Skate entry will strongly rely on user-generated content similar to the way in which The Sims and FIFA and Madden’s Ultimate Team modes do....

For Skate, it essentially established a new Vancouver-based studio called Full Circle and has brought on a lot of talent from all over the industry. A PC port of the game was confirmed, and thus far, fans have gotten a behind-the-scenes teaser for Skate 4. While it has yet to be shown in any major capacity, this is all part of getting it right, which is why EA is hiring someone for UX (User Experience) research at the moment....

Now, EA has confirmed these plans, as well as giving some additional information regarding where EA Play 2017 will be taking place. Popping an update up on the EA official website, the publisher has revealed that EA Play 2017 will run from Saturday June 10 to Monday June 12, which is the weekend prior to E3 2017 proper starting. Meanwhile, the event will take place at the Hollywood Palladium, which is approximately seven miles from the Los Angeles Convention Center, where E3 takes place....

Fanatics of the FIFA 22 Ultimate Team mode received a 90-overall FUT Fantasy Christian Eriksen ahead of the promotional release due to an incorrect update, according to the FIFA Direct Communication Twitter account. The original 82-overall version of Eriksen was switched to the FUT Fantasy version by mistake, allowing players to collect the item. The story originally broke from Vice, which reported that the hackers stole the source code for FIFA 21 and the Frostbite engine as well as various other internal assets used by the studio. The hackers reportedly plan to sell the information that they stole, which they claim measures up to a heavy 780GB worth of data and code. EA has since said that it has improved its internal security in wake of the hack....

While EA has several studios in Montreal, exactly where the company’s investment is going remains unclear. Carlos points towards EA’s goal of “infrastructure” that will help grow the industry in the region overall: Naturally, EA is gaining from the situation as well. The company will receive a tax credit from Quebec’s provincial government for its continued expansion. Montreal is currently home to three different EA studios, including BioWare Montreal, the recently formed Motive Studios, and the studio working on EA’s Frostbite engine....

Response from EA and developer Maxis hasn’t helped the situation. While Maxis team members have attempted to be transparent about the problems facing SimCity, asserting that the title could be patched to play offline, EA has aggressively censored comment threads in their forums - even hiding their customer support number due to the outpouring of incensed players. However, while communication between EA and its customers remains a one-way street, the publisher is at least making good on one promise - to provide SimCity customers with a free Origin game as compensation for their troubles....

EA Play’s (Second) Debut on the Xbox Game Pass News of this development broke on the Xbox Wire. Starting March 18, 2021, PC gamers will enjoy all of EA Play’s library at no additional cost to them. If you’re having a moment of deja vu right now, it’s not just your imagination. Microsoft has previously announced that EA Play was making its way onto the Xbox Game Pass back in September 2020....

Dying Light 2: How to Get Pan of Destiny Players that are interested in obtaining the Pan of Destiny should put their primary focus on beating Dying Light 2. The Winter Tales event originally kicked off last December to celebrate the holiday season with a variety of themed zombies and special rewards.
